This is match from the first round of ATP Buenos Aires.
Djere is powerful player who has big baseline shots and good serve. Almost the
same goes for Cilic. The Croatian is a veteran and the clay has never been his
strength. Still he is leading in the H2H with 2-0 and by fat he is more
successful and experienced. This year Cilic is with record 1-3. Djere is 0-3
and I do not see how he can be such huge favourite. Off course Cilic is out of
form and currently ranked outside the top 1000, but he has still couple of good
years in front of him. Djere is not from the most solid players mentally and he
retired on 03.02.2024. I really do not trust neither of them at the moment! I
think the match will be tighter than the odds suggest. Due that I take Cilic to
win a set.
