Mega Bemax - Partizan (lost)

Partizan will visit team of Mega Bemax. It's a Serbian playoffs, quarterfinal, Game 2 in series best of 3.

Partizan is 1-0 up in this series after more or less easily won opening game at home, 97:68.

Today I expect new win for them and thus finishing series early, saving energy for SF.

Note the opponent in the semis will be the first favorite, Crvena zvezda who already finished the job in QF. Obviously the last Partizan need is to this series go into the third match.

Mega can't cope with Partizan, that was clear in opening match. Though, this team recently in the regualar season surprised here Crvena zvezda and won 76:74 but that was at time when CZ still was with coach Alimpijević who is fired in the meantime.

Mega and Partizan did not meet each other in regular season cause they were in separate groups. But they met each other earlier in the season in ABA liga and Partizan won easily both games, 89:73 at home and 89:103 here on the road. And both times with comfortable advantage already at halftime.

Partizan seems in good form and they will try to use decline in Zvezda shape. Mega is just one easy obstacle on the path to the semifinals clash with biggest rival.

Partizan has no major concerns about roster except Bandja Sy who probably will miss today's game after falling down on his shoulder during one dunk in the Game 1. He said it wasn't too serious and that he will be ready soon but IMO he will skip this Game 2.

In any case, with him or without, Partizan should take the job done here.

I choose the first half handicap as my bet. Simply, the line moved and from initial 6.5 now it's 8.5 for Full-time. But William Hill keeps this low 3.5 for the halftime. I like it cause seems to me Partizan lately opens the game very well.
