I think this is a similar matchup to the Minny - Blues matchup where we saw ten goals, which was by the way exactly going like expected as we saw scoring chance after scoring chance which was a joy to watch. Here I think it will be black or white once again, either a super close one with not many goals, or a goal fest, nothing in between.
Just like the Blues, the Avs are on the road creating tons of scoring chances with a solid 475 SCF which ranks them 6th (with 5 vs 5). Between the pipes, we will see Gustav again who allowed 4 goals against the Blues and who is playing worse at home with a 2.75 GAA as opposed to a 1.91 GAA on the road.
The Wild play better 'D on the road as I wrote in my last preview and this team will be even more dangerous without Kaprizov as Boldy and Rossi are red-hot to do something against a strong goalie (2.59 GAA), like Blackwood.
