The Minnesota Timberwolves started the season promisingly, but the last few weeks have been a tough test for them, as they have won only two of their last nine games. However, they managed to break their losing streak in the game preceding this one, beating the Los Angeles Clippers.
The Los Angeles Lakers have had a season full of ups and downs. After an impressive six-game winning streak, the team has won only two of their next six games. Their most recent game against the Utah Jazz saw them narrowly win ,was 105-104, which they earned thanks to solid defensive play late in the game.
The Timberwolves will have the advantage of a longer rest period and playing on their home court in their upcoming game. Meanwhile, the Lakers will need to focus on maintaining their high shooting percentage from beyond the arc and controlling the tempo of the game.
