Faroe Islands will continue to have a huge crowd support, with 10% of the population being in the stadium. This carried them far against Switzerland, even if they blew a 5 goal lead in the second half. It's a charming underdog, earning their first ever point at this championship. Historic, charmig and the buzz is real. They have some good players in Teigum, Skipagotu & Mittun, enough to carry them an entire game
Montenegro will be the team that feels most hard done by. Imagine scoring 40 goals and not winning. A tough mental spot to be in, but it's all about survival now. A win is the only acceptable outcome for them here, and to be honest Faroe Islands are too new to this scene to carry a favorite stamp. Montenegro have better size and power, and will need to be as efficient as against Slovenia. They showed they can score, but they have to sharpen the defense. Simple as that
I understand this is a risky bet, but I can't shake off the fact that Faroe Island go in to a game in the Euros as favorites, even if it is against a mediocre Montenegro side. Faroe Islands should not be favorites, but I respect their energy in front of this crowd, and play Montenegro +2.5 handicap at decent price. I am even tempted by the Montenegro win at over 3.00, but can't trust them fully. A close game is probably on the menu
