Challenger Gran Canaria
Partly physiological (being a teenager) and nothing too serious, but there have been apparent step backwards in Musetti's tennis growth in this early season. I'm referring in particular to his serve (few free points) and forehand (more shaky and less deep), Lorenzo is nowhere near his best level if you ask me. Also I don't quite understand this momentary transition on clay (after playing indoors in Biella last week), when he will play ATP events in Doha and Dubai on hard early in March. His first match in Gran Canaria was nothing special although Musetti was super favourite over local #796 Marti Pujolras, he won 6-3 7-5 in what appeared to be a WTA break fest from both sides throughout. Since Musetti is ridiculously priced as usual at Challenger level, I have to oppose him with great value as I feel he may have an early loss this week and also because of his level which doesn't deserve such short odds. Molcan is gonna be a far better opponent in this one, it's worth a shot for sure.
