The Devils did hit the Over in 4 of their last 5 matches and it seems that offense finally woke up a little bit. That's very classic at the end of the season since play-offs are not in the picture. I see that Markstrom is confirmed on goal and he is the weakest goalie in the squad. Last round, they produced a thriller of a match against the Kings and the latter play for the standings. The Devils have excellent depth in lines but for some reason, things didn't click this year.
The Bruins aren't as dominant on the road and have confirmed Korpisalo on goal. He is also the weakest goaltender of the team. Thus, the goalies match-up is friendly for goals and odds are drifting down. By the time of the match, value will be lesser. The Bruins have a healthy squad without injuries. It's a good power play team but penalty kill is below average. The Eastern conference is stacked and the guests should be more motivated for the win but the Devils play without pressure.
With both goalies confirmed and the Devils finding back some offense, I am happy to back the line at this price. If your bookie has already suppressed value, try the Over 6.
