I will fade the Rangers again here just like I did in the Jets game. Indeed, I did not change my mind a bit about them, the Rangers are overrated big time all season long. Winnipeg exposed them and I think another favorable matchup today and here is why.
The Devils outplayed the Rangers in almost every possible way, more offensive time zone, better balance between 'D and offense, and so on. So check this out.
The Devils with a massive 58.26 xGF% (!), and the Rangers only a 44.42 xGF%.
The Devils with a 52.20 CF%, the Rangers with a 48.72 CF%.
The Devils allow fewer shots on goal, shoot more ON goal, and allow fewer chances while they create more high-quality chances as well as we can see with that massive 54.35 HDCF% (only 43.44 HDCF% for NY). All metrics include special teams by the way. That's right, New Jersey with the superior PP as well (number one Power play in the NHL vs the 11th for NY).
Took this line with my local for plus money but Pinna somehow does not show these lines any longer, so the ML will do just fine as well.
