Two clubs at not only different ends of the league table, as Newcastle is 3rd and Leicester is 3rd from bottom, but two teams in different classes, Newcastle with amazing season and all their big money signings paying off for them, Leicester if they will relegate will mainly have to blame their lame management as they could not provide Rodgers a decent keeper this season after Kasper Schmeichel left for Nice. Replacements Ward who is injured, and now Iversen are simply not Premier League material, honestly I've seen better keepers in lower league levels in England, seeing lately Iversen concede 5 very easy goals from Fulham on the road.
That game Leicester was behind 4-0 and 5-1, but scored two late goals and only lost 5-3 but Newcastle is amazing in defense with a national team keeper like Pope, and some excellent other national team defenders in their side. To be remembered that it took them 25 minutes to make it 5-0 at home with Tottenham one month ago, and won last round 4-1 at home with Brighton who was coming after a 3-0 win at Arsenal. They met at Leicester this season of course, Newcastle took 15 minutes to make it 2-0, and ended the first half with a 3-0 lead. They met in the cup here, Newcastle won 2-0. But Rodgers is no longer around at Leicester, really poor move and they can very well relegate as I do not see them capable of getting anything out of this game, with center defender Vestergaard once more missing for them, and especially with Iversen in goal, no disrespect, but Premier League standards are very high.
