O. OTTE-A. Zverev 

After long injury break O. OTTE is finally back. The former Top 30 Player qualified for MD here with 2 straigt set wins vs Mensik and Lestienne. OTTE can hit big with Serve and FH, BH solid and movement for a 6´6 player pretty solid. After being away from the Tour he will just enjoy this Match, putting not much pressure on him and giving Zverev a hard time. His serve has a quick release and hard to read. H2H 1-0 Zverev at French Open pretty unknown OTTE surprised Zverev in Rd 1 taking a quick 2-0 set lead, running out of gas at the end losing 2-3. Here on gras different story, Zverev with his debut on Gras might still a little bit mentally tired and sad wasting a 2-1 set lead at Final of RG versus Alcaraz, dreaming already of his first Grand Slam Title. Little preparation and rust will not make this round easier for him. At times Zverev struggeling with DF and at least one Serve Game per Set is really shaky, on Gras that can mean already the loss of the set. Imo Gras is the weakest surface for Zverev, even so from the conditions it should suit him, but maybe his mental lapses at times are causing not that success. In Halle reached in his career 2 times the F and last year the SF. In Wimbledon f.ex. his best result was only 1 time the Round of last 16. OTTE knows him very well from DC and many practice sessions and he knows that he has a great chance here facing Zverev in his current state.OTTE proven already his skills here in Halle, reaching the SF in 2022.Another gras SF in Stuttgart in 2022 rounds that up and underlines how much he loves to play in Germany, bringing out his best Tennis.
