I’ve been looking closely at tonight's Champions League clash, and I really believe the best value is backing Paris Saint-Germain to win with a -1.5 Asian Handicap. I know exactly how tight games can get at this level of the competition, but the current matchup heavily favors the home side. Right now, PSG is running great. They are coming into this game on a highly confident four-game winning streak—including a very comfortable 3-1 win over Toulouse—the only downside is the injury of Barcola, but Dembele seems to be recovered and started delivering. Liverpool is having some serious problems, especially on the road. They have been leaking goals, losing to Brighton and suffering a brutal 4-0 defeat to Manchester City recently. To be honest, they did not show great football at Galatasaray. The Turkish side managed to outplay them in Istanbul and could have easily punished them with a lot more than a 1-0 win, but they just didn't have the attacking firepower to finish the job. Well, firepower is definitely not what PSG misses. Because of this, I expect massive, relentless pressure on Liverpool’s defense from the very first whistle.
The visitors are going to do mistakes, and my opinion is we will see a lot of desperate, late tackles. I see a really big chance of multiple yellow cards being handed out. I also believe a penalty is very likely given how much time PSG's explosive attackers will spend inside the box. I trust PSG to settle this tie right here at the Parc des Princes. I fully expect them to dominate and walk away with at least a 2-goal advantage, if not more.
