A nice season opener for PSV at home against promoted Emmen who will no doubt be locked in a relegation battle all season. They have some decent players such as French midfielder Bernadou (former PSG youngster) and striker Rui Mendes who scored 15 goals last season but they are still a average side that PSV should cruise past at home and beat by at least 2 goals. PSV have potentially solved their Goalkeeper issue by getting Walter Benitez from Nice who should be an upgrade on last year's keeper and erratic Joel Drommel. They have also made a very shrewd signing in Xavi Simons from PSG along with capturing Guus Til after he starred for rivals Feyenoord last season. Most significant signing though could be the return of Luuk de Jong after his spell at Barca. Expect a 3-0 opening win for PSV, 2-0 at worse.
