PSV had a great start of the season and won 4 of their 4 games. They scored already 18 goals and conceded 3 goals. Almere City, Heracles and RKC Waalwijk scored a goal against PSV and in the last game of PSV (3-0 win against Go Ahead) the Eagles had also some big chances to score a goal. PSV has still many problems in their defense because new players Karsdorp and Nagalo aren’t 100% fit so Ledezma, Flamingo, Boscagli and Dams will be the defenders. Lozano, Saibari, Dest, Mauro, Obispo and Oppergard are still injured and also Veerman is doubtful.

NEC Nijmegen surprised me two weeks ago with a good 0-3 win against Fortuna Sittard. So after 2 losing games against FC Twente (1-2) and AZ (1-0) they won against PEC Zwolle (1-0) and Fortuna (0-3). Also they have 2 clean sheets in a row but for this game they are missing their first goalkeeper Roefs. So Van Gassel will start as first goalkeeper.

PSV won 39 of 43 games against NEC in Eindhoven and are the big favorite. They have good attackers like Lang, De Jong and Bakayoko but the defense is very bad. Three weak teams scored already against them and NEC scored 3 goals in Sittard against Fortuna. Also two clean sheets in a row for NEC so I don’t expect a big win here for PSV. PSV is 11 games unbeaten in Eredivisie and the last lost was against NEC so I think there is some value on NEC.
