Panama "only" got 0-0 draw away against Suriname in the first game, but now returns home to face Guatemala.
Truth to be told, Panama remains, together with USA & Mexico, the best team in the region. Now they will face Guatemala for the second time in a few months, after their first meeting in the Gold Cup on neutral ground finished 0-1 for Panama.
About that first match, it was extremely dominant by Panama. 68% possession, 21-3 in shots just to name a few. I believe Panama will be similarily dominant again, at home. They need the points after the draw in Suriname.
Guatemala made a big blooper when they dominanted El Salvador completely at home, but managed to lose the game in the end. A strange result which demolish the hopes of a strong qualification, because it is almost certain of a loss in Panama as well, and that would mean 0 points after two matches - a fully realistic scenario
Conclusion: I simply trust Panama to showcase their dominance again, and dictate the conditions fully. I expect around 70% possession and a huge dominance in chance creation, so with a bit of efficiency, this can be something like 3-0, which was the result the last time they played in Panama. I will play -1.5 AH. Currently I see no team in the region coming to Panama and claim any points.
