Partizan - Lokomotiv Kuban (won)

Big game, really big game in Eurocup today. These two teams are among greatest favorites to win Eurocup in this season. By the offered odds, 1) Virtus Bologna 2) Unicaja 3) Lokomotiv Kuban 4) Partizan are the Top 4 favorites. But IMO these two are even better than Top 4, Lokomotiv is the No.1 while Partizan second favorite if you ask me.

In any case, today I give advantage to Serbian team. I already said few times Partizan is very good in 2018/19, they already won one trophy, ABA Super Cup and are contenders in every competition they play. For me they are the team to bet on and as mentioned earlier, hardly I will bet against them anytime this season. They need to be max overrated to I decide to bet against them.

Today I don't think Partizan is overrated. Yes, Loko for me in No.1 team in Eurocup but Partizan at home as only couple points favorite, that's correct line. Also, Partizan had better start of the season. They are one of only 3 teams who opened Eurocup with perfect 3-0. The other two are above mentioned Virtus Bologna and Unicaja.

Partizan was really good. So far in all competitions (3) plus preseason, only one loss for them in who knows how many games, I already lost the count.

After 4 missed games, important player Thomas was back in the Partizan roster for visit to Bar against Mornar in ABA league. That was the game that Partizan won in routine manner although Mornar is probably Top 5 in ABA and although Partizan was in that game without head coach Andrea Trinchieri who wasn't feeling ok, so his assistant was in charge. The Italian coach is back on the bench today.

So, Partizan with full roster available and with head coach back. The game is in their old Pionir Hall. Namely, starting from this season in next five years Partizan will play home games in big Belgeade Arena (20K+). But today Belgrade Arena is occupied, so only for this match they are back to Pionir. I feel this is not bad at all. This is legendary Hall for Partizan and it's way more acoustic. When it's crowded, then it's the home court advantage in best possible way. And today it's going to be max crowded. All tickets are sold out already yesterday. This hall is renovated during the summer and instead of 7K, now we are talking about 8K to 9K fans. The fans are in delirium, Partizan played great so far and that's why the expectations are big. I have no doubts today Partizan will have big wind in the back from its fans.

Lokomotiv is very good but they didn't impress in their only road game so far. They suffered the loss in Lithuania from Rytas. Yes Rytas has played great game back then but Partizan on the same visit took the job done after managed to completely shut down the Rytas' offense (60 pts). Though, I must be honest and say that I have just small concern that Loko could raise the level significantly today.

I'm still on Partizan but with little bit different approach. I will use first quarter line, the same bet I had when they faced Turkish Tofas. Back then it wasn't good. Namely Tofas was leading not just first period but entire first half, in some moments even in double digits. But at the end Partizan has won in comfortable double digits. In any case, I'll give another chance to same betting options. It didn't work last time but the reasons for bet IMO were correct. Namely, I expected to early pressure from the stands affect the road team as usually is the case. Today back to this old Hall, I feel the fans are going to be factor in good game opening for the home team.
