Partizan - Mega (won)

Partizan and Mega will meet in semifinal of the Korac Cup. It's Serbian Cup competition. After we had some low quality games in quarter finals, now this should be much better game between two sides from ABA league.

There wasn't any surprise in QF although it was very close to we see huge upset when Crvena zvezda barely eliminated Borac Cacak after Over Time and after Borac missed both free throws several seconds before end of regulations. Note the handicap was around 40 pts. As for Partizan, they were pretty modest too in QF against opponent who also was 30 pts underdog. It was tied game for entire first half and then just third period when Partizan showed it's quite higher class.

Like head coach Canak said, if anything was good, it's a fact the playing minutes of main players were low and all main guys were on the bench in 4th quarter.

Mega eliminated Dinamik in QF, 94:79.

Partizan IMO is better of these two sides. Partizan failed to reach playoffs in ABA but with changing head coach and several new players, they were much better in recent period.

Partizan also was better from Mega in both mutual games in ABA, both times quite convincing victories. Firstly 89-102 on the road and then just recently at home 89:73.

BTW, this cup tournament is in city of Nis. So neutral court but in this game it will be real home court for Partizan who had huge fan base there.
