Partizan - Trakai (lost)

Partizan in the opening qualifying round defeated Rudar Pljevlja from Montenegro, 6:0 on aggregate score. Trakai surprised the opponent from Kazakhstan and passed through in the underdog role.

Partizan is coming to this second European round after big failure at the start of the Serbian league when they suffered 1:0 loss away at Surdulica. But no matter, I think the mentioned loss will be just bigger motivation for them now to literally destroy this weak opponent.

Of course I don't say Serbian club football is on sone too great level, cause it's not. But it worth a mention season ago both best teams in Serbia qualified for the group stage of UEFA competition. What more, both managed to came out of the group and to compete in the knockout round. On the other side, Lithuanian teams are far away from something like that and clearly we are talking here about huge quality gap.

Fact that championship in Lithuania is already half way through, IMO is not much helpful for Trakai. After all, just two days ago we have had chance to see Serbian and Lithuanian teams against each other, also here in Belgrade. It was Champions League qualifications between Crvena zvezda and Suduva and it didn't end good, not good at all if you were a Lithuanian team fan. Suduva, who is by far best team in Lithuania, was completely helpless. They conceded 3, should concede at least that much more. And all the time Suduva wasn't threat at all in attack. They have created just one goal chance and even that one when it was already 3:0.

And what it has to do with this bet? Well, it has cause Crvena zvezda and Partizan are pretty much the same in the tearm of quality level while in Lithuania this Trakai team is even 21 pts behind the mentioned current leader, Suduva.

It's true Trakai has changed the head coach recently and there was slight improvement by eliminating the team from Kazakhstan but I doubt they will be able to hold well here too long.

Partizan will be today without Nikolić, Ožegović and Tošić. Those are players who would be helpful but IMO their absence is nothing to be big concern when Partizan face this opponent.

I think this will be pretty much one way traffic and all options, handicap, ht-ft, win to nill should be winning bets.

The odds for each of them are not too great, that's true. This should be taken way earlier, two days ago we have had amazing 1.90 as for ht-ft as well for handicap. Now we lost the value. Still, I took in bet365 and that's my advice for better value, the so called Bet Builder. Namely there I connected both ht-ft and winning margin 2 or more and thus reached decent 1.95 odds.
