Univ. Craiova ended last year as the league leaders. In the end of last season they were quite great to watch winning their final league game 5-0 at home with Ciuc, winning also 2-0 on the road at Hermannstadt. While on 4th of December they played in the Romanian Cup group stage against same Petrolul, also on the road and won that fixture no less than 4-0, and Petrolul did use most of their starting players.
For me Craiova has the best players in the league right now. They can make two teams of a good level. Quite solid in European games as well. Petrolul is really not that strong as they do have financial problems right now and sold at least one starting player this winter break. Their coach is quite defensive minded, and they do not have a strong point in their side, neither defending or attacking is not that great and they are not the type of team to keep hold of the ball, but Craiova is.
So, given that 4-0 win from Craiova here last month I back the -2 AH on them here as well. GL!
