As per many analysts, Portugal is a hidden underdog to lift the trophy. It's the last EURO for some big names and this team has firepower. At 41, Ronaldo is a regular scorer in the Saudi Arabian league but without all the respect, it's a Pokemon league. Pepe is still playing as well in defense with some good players like Mendes, Cancelo and Dias. The midfield with Vitinha and Fernandes can deliver balls to stunning players like Leao, Ronaldo and Silva. Portugal has a good team and I expect goals for sure.
The Czechs have an interesting squad and during the friendlies they've showed good offense. They did play against weak teams like Malta, Armenia, North Macedonia, Moldova and Norway. But, they did look good as a core and they can offer offense. Up-front, I'd expect Schick and Kuchta, both have been excellent in their respective clubs. The teams key strength is the wide midfield with players playing in all major leagues. Portugal is not a team that parks the bus and the Czechs will have their chances.
Today, I expect all 4 teams to score a goal. The first match was spot on with probably the best half of the EURO for the moment. The second match should be poised as well.
