Well, Jaime is semi-talented youngster, AND a excellent clay courter. He is now so close to his career best ranking. He has had some nice deep runs in CH level at his home soil this year, when he won earlier in the year Oeiras Challenger and defeated there bunch of good CH-players. Also one SF at home. He is also defending here QF from last year, so some points to defend.
I dont know what ARV is still doing on Tour, this old "fart" :)))))))) Fact is that age of 36y old his form is dropping and dropping. I have been watching him this season, and his movement is not anymore good for clay. Of course he is a "tricky" lefty with nice serve to the add-side, BUT overall his game has been poorish for some time. He is ONLY 22/27 this season on clay - on his FAV surface!
I like the homeboy in this scenario with nice juicy plus money odds.
