Real Madrid is really not doing that great. Their first choice keeper, Courtois got injured, missed their last game as they got smashed at home 4-0 by Barcelona, conceding all 4 goals in the second half after their summer signing, Mbappe had two goals ruled out by the VAR in the first half. Their entire line of 4 defenders plus the keeper got low marks in that loss.
Also I am sure most of you watched Real Madrid defend really poor against Dortmund last round in this group stage of the Champions League. They were 2-0 behind at HT, but Dortmund made the mistake to defend the lead, and Real Madrid came on top scoring 5 goals in a row in the second half, and quite simple goals as well, as they won 5-2.
I can not praise the AC Milan defense either seeing them concede from 10 men Club Brugge KV last round as well, but they did win 3-1 in the end. AC Milan also lost 3-1 at home with Liverpool, they have just 3 points, Real Madrid has 6 points, both need a result here. Both are likely to score, and I back over 3.5 goals.
In terms of missing players, Real Madrid is without Carvajal and Alaba, two defenders, and alongside Courtois missing, they are really weak in defense right now. AC Milan is without Florenzi, Bennacer and Gabbia, their keeper is of top quality, but most times even he can not avoid conceding goals, so I take good odds on over 3.5 goals, given the attacking quality these two have, the poor defending, and the fact that Real Madrid plays high scoring games lately, 3rd tough game for them in a row.
