Russian ladies have not taken part in any major tournament since after the Russia-Ukraine war, they have been busy ever since with friendlies and recently they lost last 2 games with 0-3 to North Korea and 2-1 to Uruguay. The recent defeat to North Korea is actually their 1st defeat at home in the last 10 friendlies they have had. Last 3 games, lost 0-3, won 3-2 and won 4-0.
North Korea is not a popular name in football, but their ladies are incredible as they have lost just twice to Japan in last 10 games all competitions. Recently they won 0-3 to Russia, lost 2-1 to Japan and 0-0 to Japan. They have had some interesting scores in last 3 away games exception of Japan, won 0-3 to Russia and 0-7 to Thailand and 5-0 Taipei.
They met just 2 days ago, and Russia lost 0-3. I don't think 2 days is not enough for Russia to outperform today. North Korea is a very discipline team and take every game serious, should be an away win and a possible same score as the previous encounter just few days ago.
