Rytas and Siauliai are two teams with similar philosophies. Rytas is richer and they have more talent. What is more, they are better organised defensively under Zibenas' guidance. On the other hand, the rest is all about similarities: both teams love first-choice offensive options, are efficient at sharing the ball, athletic and pace-offence-oriented.
Rytas will likely will the best-of-five series but Siauliai may well get under the favourites' skin. They are calm and head coach Sireika has made his team into one tough fist of confidence. Rytas' advantage against lower calibre LKL teams is usually the Vilnius side's longer bench but Siauliai have a damn long bench themselves for the budget they possess.
In general, I see the first game in the series a game of offence and afterwards we will see how this series might develop as it winds on. However, the first game is usually the least important game in the best-of-five series, so I expect both teams to play kind of relaxed today and making the most out of their strong sides offensively.
