The Sharks are in tryhard mode. They are 3 points away from the play-offs and 2 games less than the Predators. Thus, they can still do it but time is a constraint and they will need to take seriously every match. They are in good form and home schedule has been friendly. The H2H is 2-1 this season and the home team won every match. They have a good spot with home edge and it's the rested team. Nedeljkovic is projected on goal and he has been pretty much okay this season.
The Oilers are on back to back after yesterday's loss against the Mammoth. They choked a lead and the Mammoth tied the game with a shorthanded goal. That's so classic Oilers. It's a team that can always collapse in defense at every point of time. Ingram is projected on goal and he is pretty similar to Nedeljkovic in stats. There are a couple of important players out: Draisaitl and Hyman. This definitely shorten offensive depth. The German is crucial of their power play and although it's the best PP team with 30% this figure has dropped to 12% in the last 10 games (all the matches without Draisaitl).
I fancy the Sharks at home and with extra day rest. The Oilers play without 2 central forwards and it's a back to back game. The Sharks race for the play-offs. The Oilers losing wouldn't be too dramatic for the post-season.
