Sassuolo - AC Milan    (lost)

Sassuolo play as a unit; stubborn with a never-give-up spirit. They have scored late goals in 4 out of their 6 league matches. Their only loss so far came away to Juventus 2:1. Admitted it could have been a higher scoreline but Ronaldo was just getting to the groove of things. That is not to take anything away from the Neroverdi though as Sassuolo showed great determination which is why I like them. They have had series of good result where they have been tagged outsiders and here they welcome AC Milan to a ground where they have won Inter Milan 1:0, Genoa 5:3 and only two rounds ago Empoli 3:1 (whom AC Milan drew 1:1 last round). Away to SPAL last round, they fielded mostly substitutes yet prevailed 0:2, and thus climbed to third place after 6 games.

AC Milan have played 3 straight draws winning just 1 match, drawing 3 and losing 1. Generally, their performace on travel have been thus: 1:1 draw vs. Empoli, 0:1 win vs. Dudelange, 1:1 vs Cagliari. Gonzalo Higuain scored two of their 3 away goals while the third was an own goal last round against Empoli. Coincidentally, Higuain is injured and ruled out of this clash barring any last minute change.

The size of the two clubs is definitely wide apart but Sassuolo is just playing better at the moment and we could see them on their own ground leave with a point at least.
