Sassuolo - Udinese    (lost)

I'm not actually happy to take ML picks in friendly matches like this, but Sassuolo look like a clear favourite if things go the way they should. Sassuolo have been a brilliant team under De Zerbi this season, I like to call them ''the small Atalanta'' because both teams are very similar in the way of playing, even better form from Sassuolo these days (I think it's the best Serie A team together with Milan in terms of quality right now). Their last 5-0 win over Genoa was really impressive to me, not only for the scoreline itself but also for the fact that Genoa are still sweating to get that safety they don't deserve, being of course the most motivared team there and still got humiliation. Udinese looked pretty poor against Lecce in the last round, there were clear signs of fatigue and no reason to force having already secured safety. Udinese manager Gotti even said that their locker room looked like a battlefield after that match, all exhausted and a couple of players were even on crutches (I'm not joking, he really said that). Short bench and many injuries since the restart, Udinese have no expectations for this match and Gotti could also make some youngsters debut. Playing Sassuolo is like one of the worst things for Udinese right now, so the Neroverdi should end this great season with another win.
