The Kraken didn't manage to capitalize with another win after the success against the Kings. They were competitive in that match and the final 7 minutes featured 4 goals. I like such high variance teams and the Over can cash in within minutes. Daccord hasn't been good on goal for the past weeks. He did play well against the Kings but his previous showings were far below average. Offense has struggled a lot this season and not having Schwartz & McCann doesn't help. Yet, the Sabres are leaky from the back and that's a good spot.
The Sabres will play their last road match and it was a very wearing trip (6 games). Some of the players were sick in the past days including Norris and Tuch. From the practice report, both are highly probable to play and I do expect to see them in the line-up. They are key offensive pieces. Also, Noah Ostlund will travel to Seattle. The Sabres are good to back for goals on the road as they are 11-4 in this aspect. The guests will also play against the worst penalty kill unit in the league so watch out for power play goals.
The H2H is significant in terms of goals. Since the creation of the Kraken's franchise, this match-up has always featured at least 6 goals. With the Sabres playing their last game on the road before going back at home, this could be a more loose game. The Kraken could have a few chances as the Sabres are not clinical from the blue line. I will head for goals.
