I watched Serbia as they hosted a local tournament last month, a group tournament with 3 invited nations. Winning first 4-0 with Montenegro U19 scoring goals with ease and finding themselves in excellent positions to apply an easy finishing touch. Rarely troubled at the back though as Montenegro U19 was not strong enough.
In their 2nd group game back than they hosted Hungary U19, and won 3-1 that fixture, so over 3.5 goals. While in the final group game that was to decide the winner of the tournament, Serbia U19 did not defend a draw which would have given them the trophy on score difference, but played really attacking minded once more in a fixture they won with no less than 11 goals scored total with 6-5 against strong Portugal U19.
So they scored 3, 4 and 6 goals in their 3 home games last month. Now, they hosted Russia U19, 3 days ago, scored 3 goals once more, and also conceded twice as they are very attacking minded but spaces can be found in their defense. At least at this level Serbia looks to outscore opponents, and I back over 3.5 goals at decent odds. GL!
Sorry for those offended that I posted Russia in my pick, it is just gambling and football. No comment about the war cause I am no politician, but tragic.
