I went twice in a row now with Sheffield, twice DNB as an underdogs, they were both times very close, they lead against United 2:0 and had everything in control since 72th minute… Then there was black 7 minutes, everything went south and match ended with DRAW (3:3). Against Wolves we have seen pretty much “even” match, they lead till 65min and match ended with a DRAW (1:1). Sheffield United is in my opinion very underrated team, they plays very good but unfortunately they just need a bit luck at the end. Today they could turn things back on winning tracks, they host Newcastle and I see them as a clear winners. Sheffield United are unbeaten in their last 7 matches but they managed to win only twice. Their last defeat was against Liverpool and they lost with 1:0, nothing terrible, as a matter of fact, losing with 1:0 to Liverpool is no shame. They draw with Chelsea, Tottenham, United, they won against CP, Everton, Arsenal,..
Newcastle did take a huge point against City last match, match ended with 2:2 and this was quite surprise. We need to know, Newcastle is pretty good at home this season, but they aren’t so good on the road. They have only one with in their last 5 matches (against West Ham), losing to Aston Villa, Chelsea, Leicester, Liverpool.
I hope we wont see black minutes from Sheffield today, they are very likeable team and I really believe in them. They should win this one with more than one goal. I expect a lot from Mousset, Lundstram, Fleck in this match. They doesn’t have any problems with injuries and on the other hand we might not see Yedling, Saint-Maximin, Lascalles and Ritchie are out.
