Sol De America vs Independiente    (lost)

Sol de America  welcomes Independiente in round 9 of the Paraguayan Apertura. The teams are equaly matched on the table with 14 points and even have the same 4-2-2 till now. However the hosts look much better lately with a more offensive output.

The newcomers from last season Independiente adapted to the league well and had some stellar performances at the beggining of the league. That is especially noticable in their home matches. Things have though slowed down a bit for Independiente. After a surprising win over Guarani they barely managed to win over struggling Santani 1:0 also taking a 1:1 draw vs lowly 3`rd de Febrero. All cummulated with a resounding 4:0 loss to Cerro Porteno. They showed no conviction in that game and the game was practically decided early on in the game.

Sol de America is on the rise for sure. Not only that they are a true force at home this season but also make big waves against big teams away from home. After a shocking win over Libertad 1:2 playing with a man down they almost surprised Olimpia away. They were 2:0 up before their keeper got a red card. They scored the third before the break but eventualy couldn`t hold down the advancing Olimpia. Finally they can be happy with a 3:3 draw.

Coming back at their stronghold Sol de America will again throw everything in attack. Here they won over Santani 3:2, 3`rd de Febrero 3:1 and Capiata 5:1. The opponents manage to score but are usually overpowered.

The hosts are missing their regular keeper Ortiz while Independiente has their 3 players - Pablo Gavilán, Andrés Duarte and Jordan Santacruz returning after missing the last game.

I am thinking this will have 3 goals at least.
