The Blues showed three faces so far. A strong and clinical win vs the Avs by 4-1. Then a humiliating shutout vs the Avs by 8-0. Last round they won 5-4 vs the Sharks after trailing by 2-0 in first period. The Blues absolutely need to improve their power play killing as they are the worst in the league so far AND they have to wake up their own special unit. In the last match vs the Sharks the Blues should have won with margin as they were the better team on ice and I expect them to capitalize their momentum with weak defensive Sharks.
The Sharks have only one win this season and it was in overtime against the Coyotes. If you want an anecdote. I had a parlay of 9 NHL matches with 45 EUR to take 11,000 EUR (you can check my twitter to feel the pain on the ticket :D). Only the Coyotes to win ML failed me. The Sharks were DEAD lucky in that game. The Coyotes hit the post 4 times and in overtime they had a 2vs1 situation that was probably a goal 9/10 times. Cherry on the cake, during the penalties, obviously the Coyotes hit the post and the Sharks won.
This being said, Sharks show very weak defense so far as they lost then next two games. They do show stronger offense than I was expecting but with this defensive line it's hard to take them against such strong teams.
Let's trust the Blues to capitalize against a weak side.
