Impressed by Sachko when I saw him for the first time in Vienna a month ago, playing Thiem in R1 and giving him a real challenge although Domi was in the mood for gifts. But Vitaliy actually showed such a high level compared to his ranking, so I've been curious to see him at work on clay this week and in a more suitable context. Fulfilled expectation as he beat a tough guy like Bagnis (saving MPs) and Cerundolo jr (as talented as his older brother). Here I think the Tabilo matchup is not bad, considering also he is facing the third lefty player in a row and will still know how to handle their hefty forehand, also Sachko is very solid on his backhand side and that's very important in this type of matchup and playing on clay as well. Tabilo recently returned after undergoing emergency surgery for peritonitis two months ago, I don't think he can be in great form. It's still ok Alejandro is rated as a slight favourite against rising Sachko on South American clay, but I like that guy and for me he is capable of getting a surprising deep run in Lima. Still going with handicap games pick to be safer.
