Another game for Telstar where they played decent enough, but could not grab all points as Mesik saved a point for Heracles in the 3rd minute of injury time. In fact, Telstar dominated most of the possession and had the biggest threat in attack.
Especially at home, they play offensive attacking football, and their coach has a fresh attacking approach in most of the games.
NEC is 3rd now in the rankings after winning 4 in a row. This team plays ultra-attacking football under manager Dick Schreuder, who is known for attacking football. Dick loves to represent himself as the most attacking-minded coach in the Netherlands, even though Peter Bosz looks like a defensive-minded coach compared to him, and he loves this attention. Schreuder won once with his previous club, PEC in the Netherlands, no less than 13-0 (!) against Den Bosch, a record thus far in Dutch pro football, which tells you pretty much that his teams always keep attacking till the very end.
NEC plays one-to-one all over the field from minute one; even defender Kaplan plays like an attacking midfielder, although he is suspended for today's game. With a few dangerous Japanese players, Linssen and Onal, this team can beat anyone on a good day, but at the same time, I would not be surprised if they lost points against a fierce Telstar team.
Hence, play goals for plus money.
