I see no reason in the offered odds! Why? Toronto have better record than Houston, Toronto plays at home, Toronto have no injury woes, Toronto plays like a team. What else?
It was a pretty big surprise that Toronto lost for a first time in Canada against Miami, but they were very bad from distance, their main force. Also, they welcomed back Lowry and Ibaka and the whole rotation changed. Now they know what they should do to improve the game because they have the best players available.
Houston is not a team, it's Harden and his friends. Westbrook is his main helper, Capela is the second, the others just fill the team. Tucker plays some defense, Capela dominates in the rim, Rivers may be very useful at both ends, Gordon is injured. However, Houston isn't playing like a team. Harden is amazing player, Westbrook is also amazing, but this team has weak bench and plays no defense. That's why I don't see them as serious team capable to win the title. It won't be easy at all against a team like Toronto.
As I wrote above, I really like Toronto and how they play. They had no answer against Miami and Houston are even more dangerous than the Heat, but Toronto will score much easier. This is possibly a match with many points, the odds are set on around 230, but I will back the Raptors.
