UCLA V.S. Pepperdine    (lost)

I have to make the move on Pepperdine in this spot after seeing UCLA play SDSU.  They are completely unprepared for competitive basketball and look sloppy and disorganized on offense. While they may trump Pepperdine in the talent department they do not have the organization to cover the spread.  The game is held in a bubble on neutral ground in San Diego.  Pepperdine is coming off of a solid win against UC Irvine (who suck), but they played motivated basketball.  Tyger Campbell is an absolute idiot.  He does not know how to play point guard.  Cody Riley is basically the only player on UCLA worth anything but I don't think he can beat Pepperdine on his own by 7 points.

Starling Says: It's going to take UCLA a couple of games to get back in the groove.  One interesting note is that the Moneyline has moved in favor of Pepperdine but the spread has moved in the direction of UCLA.  Usually when this happens it's indicative of sharp money gearing up to buy the line back down right before the game.  Pepperdine is far a competitive team but they should do just enough to scrape by on this spread.  Pepperdine +7.5
