World Championship - QF
I hope no one is not anymore "underrestimating" this US side, cause fact is that they were the best team after group stage, and message from this team has been all tournament long that they are REALLY motivated and hungry here!
US has couple strong players like Tuch and Garland in their top lines, who surely want to show in this stage what they can do. Rest of the team is like "nice" when they are young and hungry. In goal I have to say that DeSmith has been THE BEST goalie in this tournament so far - the edge against Veljmelka is clearish imo when we talk about top goalie in NHL level, against one of the worst 1st goalies in NHL.
Well, Czech dont look good here under Kari Jalonen. They lost two top forwards as Chytil and Sedlak because of in injuries. It's all about Kubalik and Cervenka now in their offense, when Kubalik is the top goalscorer in whole tournament - rest of the team looks like "mediocre" to me.
US is rolling with nice four line power here, and I cannot see this Czech side matching to them!
