This looks like a very evenly matched game in terms of squad quality. Bergodi is undoubtedly an experienced and well-organized Italian coach, but his teams have always seemed quite cautious to me — more focused on not losing than on pushing hard for a win. That kind of approach usually leads to tight, low-margin matches.
Cluj aren’t exactly in scary form either. Their win against Rapid came with a lot of luck, and the narrow, hard-fought victory over a weak side like Unirea Slobozia doesn’t really show strength or consistency. Right now, they don’t look like a team capable of clearly dominating their opponents.
On the other hand, Argeș have a small psychological edge after winning the last head-to-head meeting with U Cluj. That can matter in a matchup expected to be close and tactical.
