Arka have two wins from two matches, five goals scored and none conceded. They started with an away win against Odra Opole and then thrashed Stal Rzeszów 4-0, with Vladislavs Gutkovskis already scoring three of the team’s five goals. Unia are at the opposite end: two matches, two defeats, zero points and a 2-5 goal record.

It is also important to understand the trajectory of these two teams. Unia are playing a historic first season at this level, while Arka come from the Ekstraklasa and are looking to rebuild in the second tier.

Physical recovery adds another small imbalance. If Unia try to protect themselves more than they did in the opening rounds, Arka have enough margin to accept a controlled game; if the newly promoted side take more risks at home, Gutkovskis and company should receive more space.
