Univ. Craiova has had a very solid start to the league. The team is very similar to previous years, they already know each other well, and that's what they've been showing in these first few games. Their previous match against Sepsi was a remarkable one. I was rooting for Sepsi, I won't deny it; they had more chances, but the overall performance of the visitors made me predict this match in their favor. Good defense, good attack, and very effective in front of goal.
Craiova has been eliminated from European competitions and is now focused on doing well in the league, as it's their only objective at the moment, taking it one match at a time. I think they will take the 3 points against a Gloria team that has just been promoted from the second division and, as expected, has started the season poorly, with only 1 victory against Poli Iași. This part of the season will be the toughest for them, as they face three opponents that they are most likely to lose against.
