Vitesse lost last weekend with 1-0 against PSV but maybe they were unlucky because in the second half they had some chances to score a goal. Goalkeeper Benitez of PSV saved these chances so it ended in a 1-0 lose. It was the first lost of new coach Philip Cocu. Before this game Vitesse played 4 draws in a row. So Vitesse is the number 14 in Eredivisie with 15 points after 17 games. They had a bad start but still they are getting higher in the ranking.

FC Twente won last weekend again with 2-0 against FC Utrecht so they are number 4 in Eredivisie. With 34 points after 17 games, they are above Ajax. They are 4 points behind leader Feyenoord but they are going from match to match. It will be a heavy game because FC Twente isn’t a very strong away team because they won just 2 of 8 away games this season.

Vitesse didn’t win their last 2 head to head games against FC Twente (1-4 and 0-2) but I expect a heavy game for them. Vitesse is playing very defensive and likes to play on the counter attack with the fast Manhoef. FC Twente is doing it well so far but they have problems when they are the favorite. They like also to play defensive so I don’t expect many goals here. Goalkeeper Scherpen is suspended so Houwen will return as goalkeeper. Can FC Twente here? I don’t think so because Vitesse is doing it well with their new coach Philip Cocu and see them not lose here at home.
