It's true, this series is as good as over. GS delivered the death blow because Dallas refused to change their game plan and continued to launch 3 after 3, failing to recognize that they're playing lotto ball. Steve Kerr basically employed the opposite gameplan and just took Dallas to the paint possession after possession forcing Dallas to get into foul trouble and get frustrated as they saw the scoreline.
Starling Says: The fact of the matter is such: Dallas has no right being in this series. The Suns choked on their own ego and J-Kidd's squad's strategy of stress free lotto ball prevailed in game 7. Dallas has opened up as the favorite for the second time in a row in this series, but have been beaten ATS in every single game, squandering large leads in each game (except game 1). In order for Dallas to get to a game five they're going to need to switch things up a bit and I expect J-Kidd to be just the coach to do so. For the entirity of this series Dallas has wanted to be the offensive juggernaut J-Kidd taught to be, but the shot selection and consistency just hasn't been there. The warriors have failed to win any game 5 this entire playoffs because they take their foot off the gas - expect the trend to continue and expect the defensive pressure to ease as this game is prime for an OVER 215.5
