It seems to me that here the books are underestimating Xavier and simultaneously overestimating Saint Mary's.
The "X-men" are coming off 2 defeats against Purdue and Washington, two important opponents with whom they have always remained in the game.
Saint Mary's also comes from two defeats, but against San Diego State (the main opponent so far) they ended up under -25... They are a physical team, which historically defends hard, but which always struggles to score this year even against less than exceptional defenses.
If Xavier exceeds 65 points it will become difficult for the Gaels to stay in the game.
