Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Lakers in Game 5 of Western Conference opening playoffs round.
Last time I was on Lakers expecting from them to avoid new sweep by Denver Nuggets. And they were successful, finally were able to beat the Nuggets after some 12 consecutive losses from them. Could they prolong this series a little bit more? It's hard to say. It's going to be difficult to beat Nuggets in Denver when playing on high altitude. That's big advantage for Denver. It's no wonder why Lakers usually fell apart late in the game. They were leading after Q1 and at halftime of both so far games in Denver. In G2 it was even +20 pts for Lakers but they have failed. Jamal Murray back then saved the Nuggets with few late hit shots including buzzer beater. Murray is questionable tonight. The spread is going down from Lakers +7.5, now it's +6.5 pts. So it seems like Murray could sit out.
I'll go with Under points. This should be winning option especially if Murray is out. It's true he in general is having below average numbers in this series but his absence (or at least limited minutes) is still bad for Over bettors if you ask me.
The initial number was 218.5, then dropped to 216.5 and now going back to 217.5 or 218. I'll go with under since this in general should be low scoring series. Only one game so far went Over 217.5.
