I was waiting for the starting lineups. Lukaku and Dybala will start for Roma, so here is my preview.
Roma are much better since Daniele De Rossi took the team in January. The results are good and I believe
the players confidence is high. Most of the players are ready, but Zeki
Celik will serve a suspension.
Bayer Leverkusen are looking
for something extraordinary this season - a treble. They have already
secured the Bundesliga title and will play against second division side
Kaiserslautern in the final. The players confidence is very high as they
are unbeaten in 46 games in all competitions this season. Coach Xabi
Alonso is doing a fantastic job and the fans are pleased. Simply, it is
not easy to be better than Bayern Munich in Germany.
It
is hard to predict the winners here. Roma were better last season,
but that means an extra motivation for Bayer players. However, I will
give some advantage to Roma. For two reasons: first is the home
advantage, Roma players will have a huge support from their fans.
Second, Roma have players able to make a difference. One of them is
Europa League specialist Romelu Lukaku. He has scored seven goals in
this season's competition and 27 times overall. And don't forget Paolo
Dybala and his creativity. The duo could decide the match.
