Czech Hockey Games
World Champs are closing in, and we have this last EHT tournament in Brno now!
I watched yesterday whole match from Finland against Czech, and I have to say we were like "trailing" whole match long on ice-level, BUT that is how it goes under "golden Jukka" as our coach, he finds to ways to win games when Finland is worst team on ice-level. Czech had control most of the match, and had attack after attack into our end - Säteri in Finland goal played OUTSTANDING match, he saved 38 out of 39 shots in that match.
Now we have once again mediocre team here and for upcoming WC, when most of our stars are still involved in POs in NHL. Also Mikael Granlund has not still played for us, when he will take part of the WC. Im sure Säteri will get rest in this match, and Larmi or Lehtinen will play in goal - I hope Lehtinen because he is like 3rd goalie, but I think it will be Larmi.
Swiss played strong match against Sweden in Kloten ( I did not see that one), BUT they won the SoG statistics 33 to 27. When thinking how strong team also Sweden has now full of talent from NHL, I think it was a good game from Switzerland. We have had troubles before against Swiss under Fischer when they play that high forechecking game and put pressure to our D-mens, and having lot of SOG playing more like offensive minded. Now Swiss has already their NHL star Niko Hischier involved in this tournament, and he leads the 1st line together with Kurashev from CHI Blackhawks. Very solid lineup with Switzerland overall.
I played also both to score (at least) 2 goals here.
