I trusted the Canucks in Game 6 to close the series, they showed an absolutely pathetic face. They were trashed by the Oilers by 5-1 and barely made 15 shots on goal. I've said it a few times, the Canucks have been extremely passive in offense during the post-season. This is not how you qualify in the next round. I cannot back them with this last game.
The Oilers, play a lot of minutes and besides the top-line, there isn't a lot of contribution from the depth of the team. I think they will win tonight and go through, however, I cannot see them going further with this lack of balance in the lines. They showed good hockey in Game 6 and I'd rather back the side that can score goals rather than some old farts that show little to no offense.
Hopefully, it will not require overtime, the odds for the Oilers road win are good. I would expect the guests to win in regulation and we always have an empty net opportunity. I will chase the big odds and in Game 7, we pull the goalie very early if the match doesn't go the right direction.
