Serbia’s national team was absolutely dismantled in their last qualifying match, suffering a humiliating 5–0 defeat to England — and honestly, it could have been even worse. At times, it looked like England could score whenever they wanted. Sadly, this comes as no surprise to those of us in Serbia, who have grown used to embarrassing performances — especially under current manager Dragan "Clown" Stojković.

Stojković continues to rely on a single, ineffective tactical setup with virtually no defense and shows no intention of changing it. He's been at odds with many of our top players for a while now. The latest example is Sergej Milinković-Savić refusing to play for the national team as long as Stojković is in charge.

But the chaos doesn’t stop there. In a move driven by politics, Serbian FA has decided to move the match from Belgrade's iconic Marakana stadium (40,000 capacity) to a tiny stadium in Leskovac (6,000 capacity) to minimize anti-government chants. Tickets are only being distributed to regime-approved individuals, adding yet another layer of absurdity to the whole situation.

To make things worse, several players will miss the match: Saša Lukić (Fulham) — one of Serbia’s most consistent midfielders, Nedeljković (Leipzig), Gudelj (Sevilla) and goalkeeper Vanja Milinković-Savić are all unavailable.

On the other side, Albania are highly motivated for this politically and emotionally charged derby between two nations that share no love for each other. Given Serbia’s internal problems, poor form and absences, I believe Albania should be able to get at least a draw here — if not more
