VIla Nova FC with 39 points. America MG won their last two league games 2-1 and also 3-1, and overall are 3-0-1 lately in the league, with just 36 points as they had a poor first part to this season in the 2nd league, and as things stand just 4 points higher than the relegation zone, so could do well with another 3 points here as they are usually a side fighting for the top places in this Serie B in Brazil.
America MG started playing better some months ago, probably a coach change. They won in June on 14th at Vila Nova FC no less than 3-0. They opened the scoring in the 61 minute of the game, and one minute later life became really easy for them as a Vila Nova FC player received his second yellow card, and a red card of course. In the final 10 minutes plus added time, America MG made it 2-0 from the penalty spot, next with 1 minute left of normal time they had a 3rd goal ruled off, and eventually scored minutes later their 3rd goal as they won 3-0 and covered the over 2.5 goals bet all by themselves.
With America MG being impressive in front of goal lately with 3-1 and 2-1 wins the past two rounds, I take here over 2.5 goals, as even if Vila Nova FC does not score, they will open up once behind, and America MG often scored lately 3 goals all by themselves, but as you can see in their previous two league games they conceded one goal both times.
