Port Vale is newly promoted team - being relegated season before who is very well managed apart from some questionable managerial appointment.
But they have dedicated board, fanatic crowd and play really good football
Just look how they played against Cardiff - leader of League One for long time
Problem is they are unlucky/referees against them or they had League Cup distraction - they beat Birmingham City away unbeaten in the league at home for 29 matches (!)
And they concede late goals, with Leytonthey conceded 95th minute goal for 2-3, with 4-0-0 Stevenage they were leading until 87th minute then lost match
Then they played Arsenal and despite losing 0-2 they made good impression again and earned ton of money.
No distraction now, they started winning matches as 4 teams are relegated they need awful lot of points to stay safe, something between 46-50, no team look doomed like Peterborough.
Port vale play really exciting football and results match their performance - 10 points in last 4 matches. Good mood in the team
Wimbledon even better - last 4 games won - but last match was against Blackpool who played against manager and got hm sacked, Wycombe are bottom team with some flashbacks after Bloomfield left, Doncaster is newly promoted team which will not sweep leage straight away and they don't play for a draw and Rotherham are no worldbeathers in the league neither
Who did Port Vale beat?
Exeter - crap team with Justin Bieber as a manager
Mansfield - stable team without panic midtable to bottom quarter but they let manager work long time
Barnsley - impressive win away with ambitious team
Northampton (draw) mid table team no spectacular results but also on good run
Wimbledon - Port Vale 0-1 0-2
