Again on NHL, AND again a risky pick but I see some value here..
First of all, I watched the Caps last match against Edmonton and they were better team on ice. I think they start playing better and better, especially front of home crowd. They have one of the best offenses in hole league, I mean top-2 lines. Also their PP is to me one of the or maybe THE most dangerous in this league with Ovie as a "sniper", Oshie also good right shooter, Kuznetsov, Bäckström. Its is really dangerous. Holtby is expected to start on goal, and I know he has had rough start for the season, BUT he can always bounce back cause he showed last season in playoffs how good he is, when the Caps won the Cup.
Well Pens are a mess to me. I dont know how longer they stick with Sullivan as a coach, cause clearly he cant organize their defence. I mean I have few times backed Pens this season, and it seems every time they are 3-0 behind after 1st period when I do it :) Of course they also got great offense, with Geno Malkin, Crosby, Kessel, Guentzel.. Thouse guys can score goals in every match, and my only worrie is Holtby on goal for the Caps. Still Pens goalie situation is even worse imo cause their 1st goalie Murray has been just awful lately. Yes he has give up 9 goals in last two games!! Also their back up DeSmith is not much better at all, cause he is a AHL-level goalie. Its interesting to see which goalie gets the turn today against dangerous offense of the Caps. Murray this season has allowed 3.87 goals avg. per game, which is just terrible. DeSmith on the other hand has better numbers, but still he is their back up goalie.
Anyways this is a RISKY pick to me, cause Pens can always bounce back when this should be high scoring affair BUT still valuable to me. Im going half of my normal stake, cause I see the risks.
